Setenil De las Bodegas ☕❤Spain Congrats @joseantoniotorres92 Use #map_of_europe #Spain . . Little town in the province of Cádiz, Setenil de las Bodegas got famous for its dwellings built into overhanging rocks above a river. That made this town pretty unique among the other white villages, or pueblos blancos, of Andalucia. While most of them were built on protective cliffs and pinnacles, Setenil de las Bodegas grew out of a network of caves. I hadn’t been taking many photos so yesterday decided to set the scene for you by taking two pics of Willow sharpening her claws on a Sheoak (They call them a Casuarina in other parts). The first looking towards the little shack and the second towards the beach. It’s hard to imagine a more idyllic location, absolutely soul-nourishing. On Monday we will travel on back down the coast. I think all that visit leave behind a piece of themselves. That was certainly the case for me when I first came here over 20 years ago. Anyway, thank you to Sue for having us here again and sharing with us what I could only describe as paradise.
